On what devices can I use Eros Now?

You can use ErosNow.com on any PC or Mac using a supported browser with Flash installed. You can also access Eros Now via apps on select mobile and TV devices. Click here see a list of supported devices .

ErosNow.com system requirements

To start watching movies and shows on ErosNow.com, you'll need a computer with Flash installed, along with a supported browser like Internet Explorer, Firefox, Google Chrome or Safari. Specifically, you will need:

  • Adobe Flash Player 10.1 (.53.64) or above (get the latest version here )
  • Internet Explorer 9.0 or above, Firefox 18.0 or above, Safari 5.0 or above, or Chrome.
  • Microsoft Windows XP SP2 or above, Macintosh OS X 10.4 or above, or Linux
  • JavaScript and cookies enabled

In addition, we recommend a broadband Internet connection with a downstream bandwidth of at least 1.5 Mbps for smooth playback of standard definition video and 4.0 Mbps for high definition video.

You can test your downstream bandwidth at www.speedtest.net . Click on the green BEGIN TEST button to initiate the speed test. Once the test is complete, your downstream bandwidth will be displayed in the box that reads "DOWNLOAD SPEED.""

Why should I create a free Eros Now account?

You can enjoy all the free content on Eros Now without creating an account. We encourage you to sign up so you can take advantage of some great features:

  • Add movies to your Watch List for future viewing.
  • Create and manage music playlists.
  • Share your favorite movies, videos and songs with your friends on Facebook.

How do I create an Eros Now account?

Click "Log in" in the top right hand corner of the page. On the Log in screen, click "Sign up" and follow the instructions for creating a new account. You can also use Facebook to create your Eros Now.

I forgot my password to Eros Now. What should I do?

If you forgot your password, you can recover it by following these steps:

  • Go to Eros Now.com from a Web browser.
  • Click "Log in" in the upper right part of the page.
  • Click "Forgot Password."
  • Enter the email address you used to create your Eros Now account.
  • Click "Send Email."

I can't log in at all. What should I do?

If you do not see the "Log In" link in the upper right corner of ErosNow.com or if nothing happens after you enter your login information and click, please be sure you have enabled JavaScript and Cookies in your browser. To do so you can follow the steps listed in this article.

How do I delete my free Eros Now account?

If, for whatever reason, you would like to delete your free Eros Now account, just send us an email to support@erosnow.com. Please ensure that you send the email address you use to sign into your Eros Now account.

Once an account is deleted, this cannot be undone. You can continue to watch free movies but you will lose access to your Watch List and any playlists you have created.

How do I connect or disconnect my account from Facebook?

Connecting your Eros Now account to Facebook will enable you to share your favorite movies, videos and songs with your friends on Facebook. You'll also be able to sign in to Eros Now using your Facebook account. To connect or disconnect your Eros Now account to/from Facebook:

  • Go to Eros Now.com from a Web browser.
  • Log in by clicking "Log in" in the upper right part of the page.
  • Click "Forgot Password."
  • Click "My Account" in the upper right part of the page.
  • Click "Connect to facebook" or "Disconnect with facebook.""

What is Eros Now Premium and how does it work?

Eros Now Premium gives you access to unlimited movies from our catalogue. You can watch movies instantly on your PC, Mac, Android device, iPhone or iPad.

Can I watch any movie on Eros Now with my Premium subscription?

Yes, you can watch any movie, TV show or video on the Eros Now service with your Eros Now Premium subscription.

How do I cancel my Eros Now Premium subscription?

To cancel for your next subscription period:

  • Go to ErosNow.com from a Web browser.
  • Log in by clicking "Log in" in the upper right part of the page.
  • Click "My Account" in the upper right part of the page.
  • Click on the "Purchases" button.
  • Click on "Cancel" and follow instructions to confirm.

Once completed, you will receive an e-mail confirmation.

Will I get a refund if I cancel my Eros Now Premium subscription?

If you have a monthly subscription, your subscription will be cancelled for the next monthly billing cycle. You will not receive any refund for the remainder of your billing period. However, your subscription will continue to be active until the end of your billing period.

There is no fee to cancel an Eros Now Premium subscription.

How do I update the payment information for my Eros Now Premium subscription?

To update the payment information for your Eros Now Premium subscription:

  • Go to ErosNow.com from a Web browser.
  • Log in by clicking "Log in" in the upper right part of the page.
  • Click on the "Purchases" button.
  • Click on "Manage subscription."
  • Find your billing information. Click "Edit."
  • Enter your new payment information and click "Save."

Can I rent or purchase individual movies instead of buying an Eros Now Premium subscription?

No. Eros Now does not offer the option to rent or purchase individual titles.

Features

How do I turn on subtitles for movies?

For movies that have subtitles, a "CC" button will appear next to the playback controls on the video player. You can switch the subtitles on/off using the "CC" button.

ErosNow has English and Arabic subtitles for most Hindi movies. Subtitles are not available for music videos, trailers and promotional videos etc.

How do I add a movie to my Watchlist?

First, to add a movie or video to your Watchlist, you must create a free ErosNow account and be signed in. Then, find a movie you want to add to your Watchlist and hover your mouse over that movie's artwork. Look for and click the "+" icon at the bottom right of the movie artwork. Click it and select "Watch List."

Where can I find my Watchlist?

To see your Watchlist, go to the home page of ErosNow.com. Your Watchlist will be displayed under "My Watchlist" if you are logged in. If you are not logged in, then do the following:

  • Log in by clicking "Log in" in the upper right part of the page.
  • Click "My Account" in the upper right part of the page.
  • Click on the "My Playlists" button.

Your Watchlist will be displayed under "My Watchlist." Click on any movie you wish to begin playing.

Please note that if you have an ErosNow free account, you can add ErosNow Premium movies to your Watchlist. However, you will only be able to view previews for those movies.

How can I remove a movie my Watchlist?

To remove a movie your Watchlist:

  • Go to ErosNow.com from a Web browser.
  • Log in by clicking "Log in" in the upper right part of the page.
  • Click "My Account" in the upper right part of the page.
  • On the "My Playlists" row, click on the "Edit" button.
  • Click the red X button next to any movie you wish to remove from your Watchlist.

What is an ErosNow music playlist?

Music playlists enable you to create a set of music videos or audio tracks to be played in sequential order. Rather than clicking on songs or music videos one by one, you can create a playlist to enjoy up to 100 music videos and/or songs in a row.

How do I create an ErosNow music playlist?

To create a music playlist, hover your mouse over an individual music video or song. Look for and click the "+" icon at the bottom right of the video/song artwork. To create a new playlist, select "Create a new playlist." To add to an existing playlist, look for the name of your playlist under "My Playlists."

Don't forget that you must create a free ErosNow account to create and manage music playlists.

Where can I find a list of my saved playlists?

To see your music playlists:

  • Go to ErosNow.com from a Web browser.
  • Log in by clicking "Log in" in the upper right part of the page.
  • Click "My Account" in the upper right part of the page.
  • On the "My Playlists" row, click on the "Edit" button.

Your playlists will be displayed under "My Audio Playlists."

Device Support

Does Eros Now have an app for iOS?

Yes. Eros Now has a free iOS app that can be downloaded to your iPad, iPhone or iPod Touch via the App Store.

You cannot create an account on the Eros Now iOS app. First, you will need to visit ErosNow.com to register for a free Eros Now account. Use the email address and password from your newly created Eros Now account to login to the Eros Now iOS app.

Does Eros Now have an app for Android?

Yes. Eros Now has a free Android app that can be downloaded to your Android phone or Android tablet via Google Play.

On which iOS devices is the Eros Now for iOS app supported?

The free Eros Now iOS app can be installed on any iOS device running iOS version 7.0 or later. This includes:

  • iPad 2 or later. (For help identifying your iPad model, visit Apple's site here.)
  • iPhone 4 or later. (For help identifying your iPhone model, visit Apple's site here.)
  • iPod Touch 5th generation or later.

On which Android devices is the Eros Now for Android app supported?

The free Eros Now Android app can be installed on any Android device running Android version 4.0.1 or later. To check your current version of Android, go to the Settings menu on your device and select the "About phone" option.

Can I create an Eros Now account on the Eros Now iOS app?

No. You must visit ErosNow.com to create a free Eros Now account. Then, use the email address and password from your newly created Eros Now account to login to the Eros Now iOS app.

Can I watch Eros Now movies on my Apple TV?

Eros Now does not have an app on Apple TV. However, you can use Airplay Mirroring to stream movies from your iPad or iPhone to your Apple TV.

How do I use Airplay Mirroring to watch Eros Now movies on my Apple TV?

To use Airplay Mirroring:

  • Download the free iOS app from the App Store on your iPad or iPhone.
  • Setup Airplay Mirroring on your iOS device so it connects to your Apple TV. Follow instructions from Apple's site here. Ensure you have Mirroring turned on in your Airplay settings.
  • Launch the Eros Now app on your iOS device and begin playing the movie you wish to stream to your Apple TV.

Please note that at this time subtitles are not supported via Airplay Mirroring.

Troubleshooting

I'm experiencing video streaming issues (choppy video playback, videos that stop and start) on ErosNow.com. What should I do?

The most common causes of video streaming issues on ErosNow.com are usually easily solved through the following suggestions:

  • For a good playback experience, you need a broadband Internet connection. We recommend 1.5 Mbps for standard definition video and 4.0 Mbps for high definition video. You can test your downstream bandwidth at www .speedtest.net. Click on the green "BEGIN TEST" button to initiate the speed test. Once the test is complete, your downstream bandwidth will be displayed in the box that reads "DOWNLOAD SPEED."
  • If you are running any bandwidth-intensive applications such as another video streaming service (e.g. YouTube, Netflix), a music streaming service (e.g. Spotify, Pandora), a communications service (e.g. Skype) or file movement services (e.g. Dropbox, BitTorrent), try pausing or closing those applications while you use Eros Now. If you are watching Eros Now videos over a wireless (Wi-Fi) connection, try moving your computer or device closer to your router or using a wired connection.
  • If you are using Eros Now from your PC or Mac, make sure you have the latest version of Adobe Flash installed.
  • If you are using Eros Now on a browser, try another supported browser or rebooting your computer or device.
  • Finally, try restarting your home network. First, turn off your computer. Unplug your modem and home router. Plug in your modem and wait until all the indictor lights are blinking properly. Plug in your home router. When your router lights are all blinking properly, restart your computer and try streaming your movie again.

Why is the video quality so poor on my iOS or Android device?

Our goal is to deliver an optimal streaming experience to all Eros Now users. When you use Eros Now on a slow network connection, we automatically adjust to the best quality for your network speed to ensure that you get smooth playback.

If you are using our service on a mobile phone, try using the Eros Now app when your mobile device is connected to a Wi-Fi on a high-speed network. Cellular data connections often have slower connection speeds than DSL or cable Internet.

I cannot stream at all. What should I do?

If you are able to access Eros Now through a browser or the Eros Now mobile app but you are unable to stream a movie, make sure that the network you are using is suitable for streaming. Usually, if you cannot play a video, it is because your network speed is too low.

If you are on a mobile network, try using the Eros Now app when your mobile device is connected to a Wi-Fi on a high-speed network.

If your network speed is sufficient, try these tips:

  • Check any antivirus and firewall software to see if it is blocking third-party Flash content.
  • If you are using Eros Now from a browser, update Flash to the latest version.
  • If you are using Eros Now from a browser, try upgrading your browser to the latest version or using a different browser.
  • If you are using Eros Now from a mobile device, try deleting the Eros Now app and then re-installing it from the App Store or Google Play.

I'm experiencing audio/sound issues on ErosNow.com. What should I do?

If you cannot hear movies on ErosNow.com, try the following suggestions:

  • Verify that the volume setting on the Eros Now video player are correct. You can find the volume setting in the playback bar underneath the video player. (Move your mouse onto the player to expose the playback bar.) The volume setting is on the right side of the player.
  • Verify that your computer's volume is not muted and is turned up high enough. On a Mac, the volume controls are in the upper right of your computer. On a Windows PC, double-click the volume control in the System tray.
  • If you are still have trouble, try testing your computer's audio through another application or Web site.
  • Try closing your browser and re-launching your Eros Now movie.

I have an Eros Now subscription but cannot watch premium content. What can I do?

If you are being billed monthly for a Eros Now subscription but are unable to watch premium subscription videos, you might be logging in with an email address that is not associated with your paid subscription. First log into your Eros Now account. Click on the "Account" link at the top right of the page and then click "Subscriptions" to validate that the account associated with your email has an active subscription.

I forgot my password and, when I tried to reset it, I received an error that my email address is not recognized. What should I do?

If you see the message "We do not have this email in our records." when you submit your email address in the Forgot Password dialog, then that particular email address is not registered to an account in our records. Please check all the email addresses you might have used, including those you might not normally associate with online subscriptions.
