Lateef (Nawazuddin Siddique) is a middle-class youngster whose dream is to become a doctor. But as fate would have it, he gets caught in a drug raid where he simply happened to be present unknowingly. He is jailed and released seven years later, after which his whole life and his future are ruined. Meanwhile, ACP Sawant (Mukesh Tiwari) wants to wipe out drug peddling but has to face many obstacles from the corrupt minister (Akhilendra Mishra) and drug mafia Zafar Dongri (Murli Sharma).
