The story revolves around Bhanu (Padmapriya) who gets married to Ratnavel (Nithin Sathya), a guy who works in railways as a Hockey Player. He married Bhanu, by hiding the facts that he is impotent and is a recovering alcoholic. Soon the relationship turns sour, when the couple realize after a gynecologist (Suhasini) tells them that Ratnavel is impotent. In spite of family pressures to get a mutual divorce, the old-fashioned Bhanu decides to go ahead with the marriage by adopting a child. But with the arrival of the baby, Ratnavel becomes more insecure and tells her that the child reminds him about his weakness! And all hell breaks loose when Bhanu realizes that her husband was an alcoholic who knew about his impotency and had betrayed her. Ratnavel, in his anger, beats up Bhanu till she is almost unconscious. A few days later, she files for a divorce and stays with her parents for some days. Bhanu meets Ravichandran (Pritviraj), a happy-go-lucky guy who is a friend of her brother's. He proposes to her and they later get married. But Ratnavel who had vowed to make life miserable for Bhanu, returns. He kidnaps Bhanu and places a cadaver in her home before faking an accident with a cooking gas cylinder, leading Ravichandran and his family to believe that Bhanu died in a kitchen accident. After that, Ratnavel brings Bhanu to his bungalow in an isolated area and locks her in a sound proof room. When Ravichandran goes to Ratnavelu's house to get some life insurance papers, a series of clues lead him to find Bhanu. After distracting Ratnavel, Ravichandran calls the police and rescues Bhanu. Ratnavel is sent to a mental asylum where he later hangs himself. This seems to be a true story which happened in Andhra Pradesh in the late 90's and the family members of Ratnavel (name changed) are still there in Kakinada! But the movie ends with a happy note when we see that Ravichandran and Bhanu are still happily married and Bhanu is visibly pregnant. more»

However, on his father's ('Nizhalgal' Ravi) advice, Karthick goes to Australia for a year to pursue his studies. His father takes a promise from him that during his stay in Australia, Karthick should not communicate with Janani. Meanwhile, Janani's wedding is arranged with a rich industrialist Siva (debutant Rahul). During his return journey from Australia, Karthick meets Siva by chance and they become good friends. The film opens with a grim and bearded angry young man Guru (S. J. Surya) paying floral tributes to his former lover Priya (Sayali Bhagat) in a graveyard. In the flashback, their love story is told. Guru, a fashion designer falls head over heels for Priya an anchor working in Eagle TV's music channel. After initial hiccups, both fall in love and decide to get married. However things turn awry when the aggressive, almost maniacal channel owner JP (Rajiv Krishna) has a psychotic obsession for Priya, which turns into a dangerous game. He harasses her and on the eve of her wedding, kidnaps her, frames up Guru in a false case, puts her on virtual house arrest, brutally rapes and kills her! Due to his clout and money power, JP makes it look like a suicide. Back to the present, Guru with the help of his friend Reghu (Sasi) working in the channel meticulously plans for a year to take revenge. In a chilling and cold- blooded way, Guru tells JP on phone-"Bad Morning JP it is 10 am, you will be dead by 12'noon"! JP doesn't know who is speaking. Guru threaten JP to use his old friend's car and coming to koyambedu, JP calls his henchman Deva (Yugendran) to kill him but guru knowing this makes him get beaten by people, he come and save him and he also arranges incometax officers to arrest him for having blackmoney in car. He also threatened him that he would send him a video containing JP giving money to minister (John Amrithraj in his last role). JP identifies thst it is guru doing this work because Priya was killed in 14th feb so he is going to kill him. JP going to take revenge on him. Guru is working as pizza delivery boy, he catches him and beat him. Guru snatches chains and surrenders himself to police to escape from him. He tells to police about JP. Guru comes to JP and tells that JP's lover who was cheated by him has uploaded the rape of priya by him on YouTube. Guru ties JP and beats him and cries for death of priya but Deva beats Guru. JP breaks the two hands of Guru. Finally, in climax (taken from an English movie Shoot 'Em Up), when suryah is unable to hold a gun properly and shoot, he places bullets in between his fingers and gets his hand close to fire, by which he performs the action of a gun using his hand and he kills JP at sharply 12:00 P.M. more»

Hari (Jiiva) is an unemployed youth who runs a pavement book shop in Tripiclane area. His father (Nagesh) an upright retired school teacher buys him a shop in a building with his PF money. He names it "Periyar Bookshop" and runs it with friend Karunas. Meanwhile he constantly bumps into Pooja (Pooja), a television reporter and a love-hate relationship happens! However, one day a Malaysian based businessman (Seeman) comes and evicts him from the shop claiming that the place belongs to him. Hari discovers that his father was cheated by a land mafia gang which specializes in forged documents and is hand-in-glove with revenue officials. Hari decides to take the gauntlet and unveil the evil forces behind those property grabbers. Soon he discovers that Nama Shivayam (Sampath Raj), Vinayagam real estates owner, is the brain behind the entire operations. How Hari becomes a one-man army and brings Nama Shivayam to justice forms the rest of the story. more»

Anand (Sachin) is an advertisement photographer. Quite typical to such genre of films, he comes across Annalakshmi (Sunaina), who is conservative in her looks. After a few initial encounters, the girl develops love for him. But Anand has other plans. The mystery is soon unraveled and is made known that Anand hails from a family of doctors. When everyone thinks Anand will tie the knot to Annalakshmi, the twist occurs in the form of Anand accepting an arranged marriage.
