Ramana (Sanjeev), Yuvan (Abhinay), Aadhi (Sathyan), Prabhu (Nithin Sathya) and Iniyan (Chams) are friends in a locality. Yuvan is a spoilt-brat and is a son of a rich entrepreneur. Ramana is a caring brother who is determined to work hard and get his sisters married. Iniyan (Chams) is a struggling lawyer and Aadhi wants to make it big in cinema. Prabhu is a happy-go-lucky youth, who runs an auto rickshaw. Their life takes a turn when Priya (Karthika) arrives in their locality. Priya gets acquainted with them. She helps them overcome their inferiority complex and succeed in their careers. Meanwhile Aadhi develops romance towards her. But the friends suffer a shock when they come to know that Priya is in the brink of death and is affected by heart problems.

Siddharth/Siddhu (Shanthnoo), the son of a school principal, runs away from his home due to failing in his higher secondary exams. He meets Pavithra (Chandini) who has likewise failed, and the two travel to Chennai, with Siddu planning to commit suicide after enjoying himself for a few days. They eventually fall in love and decide to start a new life. After a host of misadventures, including one where Siddu crosses paths with a brutal policeman, they discover that Pavithra has actually passed her exams with distinction. When she realizes that Siddu had initially tried to hide this fact from her (since he found out first), she runs back to her house and joins a medical course. Siddu attempts to get her back, staying in a barbershop owned by a local (Ganja Karuppu). There, he has to contend with Pavithra's murderous father, her eccentric uncle who determines to marry her, and a Gujarati woman who falls in love with Siddu. These elements, along with the policeman attempting to kill him in an encounter, come together in the final act to threaten Siddu and his love life. How Siddu triumphs forms the climax is the rest of story.

The film starts with Justin (Richard) getting released from jail while his friend Natty (Natraj) is waiting for him. A writer who witnesses this decided to write biography on them. Justin and Nutty are friends since childhood, they first met during the death of their respective parents. Both work as henchmen to Nair (Nasser). They are his loyal servants and both are prepared to lay their lives for their master. However a sequence of events results in Nair developing mistrust and hatred on the two. He employs another youth (Aditya Srivastav) in their place and plans to bump them off. Eventually Justin ends up in prison and Nattu loses his leg thanks to Nair's plans. After three years (when Justin completes his jail term ), Justin along with Nattu decides to stay away from violence and lead a peaceful life. Charu (Madhumitha), a girl next door falls in love with Justin and both decide to marry. Meanwhile a reformed Nair seeks apology to both Nattu and Justin before his death. However when things go smooth in their lives, a previous enmity leaves Nair's henchmen making an attempt on Justin's life which eventually claims the life of Charu. In the climax, Justin stabs Aditya while Justin also gets stabbed and dies. The film ends with Natty carrying Justin, both jump into sea and die.

Three young men Keerthi (Prajin) an IT professional married to Jo (Sara), Bala (Akshay) a rich guy who is in love with a TV anchor (Pinky), and Pal (director Arshad Khan) a student with a roving eye for 'aunties' live in the same area. They meet most of the time and discuss their love life. Keerthi and Jo's marriage is on the rocks due to their demanding work schedules and they end up chatting with strangers on the net leading to piquant situations. Bala does not find true love in the girl he loves and gets closer to the girl chosen by his parents. Pal falls for an 'aunty' who runs away with her neighbor, leaving him stranded with a girl whom he does not like.

Sathya (Navadeep), son of Vijayakumar, completes his degree and spends time with friends Guru (Abhinay), Sathyan (Sathyan) among others. Life goes uncomplicated until he meets Saara (Anjali). What starts as friendship develops into love. Interestingly, when Sathya proposes to Saara, she turns it down saying that it was only friendship and nothing more than that. Next comes Meghna (Suja). What starts as love between them ends the same. Meghna insists that they part as lovers as it was all time-pass for her. And now, Sathya comes across Radhika (Madhumitha). They become close friends. So is Guru with her. When Sathya decides to inform Radhika his desire to marry her, she throws a bombshell saying that she and Guru are in love with each other. However Guru takes her for a ride. After utilising her, Guru deserts her. Steps in Sathya, who ensures that both gets married. Guru seeks solace with Badrinath (Prakash Raj). A do-gooder and an influential man in the society, he takes sides with Guru. Sathya goes hammer and tongs and ensures that all ends well. Also enters Anu (Mallika Kapoor) in Sathya's life.
