Maya (Amala) is the spoiled child of a rich man. Along with her friends she decides to make fun of Dr. Srinivas (Suresh Gopi). The doctor in turn insults her by saying that she is a fatherless child. Maya discovers that her father has adopted her when she was a baby and that her biological mother is the famous singer K. S Vasundhara Devi (Srividya). She tries everything to make her mother accept her. Finally her mother accepts Maya, but before she can make this news public, she is murdered by her administrative employees who are after her wealth. Maya kills her mother's killers and is sentenced to lifetime imprisonment. While she is serving her sentence in jail, Dr. Srinivas marries her. more»

Kuttan Pillai (Nedumudi Venu) is a retired wrestler who loves boasting about the greatness of his career. Amminikutty (Lizy) is his daughter whom he wants to get married to a successful wrestler. Dilip Kumar (Mukesh) comes to their village as a postmaster and falls in love with Amminikutty. This outrages Kuttan Pillai who says Dilip has to win a wrestling match with his friend Dara Singh to get married to his daughter. Viswanathan, a famous director, is haunted by the death of his wife and a young man whom he accidentally hit while driving. Later he meets Shyama, the daughter of his friend, still struggling with the death of her boyfriend, the man whom Viswanathan had killed. They fall in love but Viswanatan tries to avoid her. In the climax, he reveals the truth to shyama. He tries to leave the town but is stopped by her brother chandran. They have a fight and Viswanathan is hurt.
