Kaalaiyan (Sundar C) is a simple person and the best Jallikattu (Bullfight) player in his village. His world revolves around his four younger brothers. However, Varadharajan decides to marry his sister to Kaalaiyan with an eye on his land. On the day of marriage, when Kaalaiyan comes to know that the bride wants to split the bond between the brothers, he calls off the marriage. Bandit, played by Udaykumar kidnaps the pregnant wife of City Cop, K S Ashwath. Cop's wife delivers a baby boy under the Bandit's custody. Jayanthi herself offers all the jewels and plays coy, before her father. As the movie proceeds, son, increasingly known as Bettada Kalla is pitted against the father and only one can survive.
