While Gandhi was hailed as the father of the nation, his son Harilal always resented the fact that for him, he was like a father who never was. But rather than forgiving his father, Harilal chooses to tread the path that is completely against his idealistic father's principles. A frustrated Harilal Gandhi goes haywire in a bid to embrace success. He cheats people of their hard-earned money by using his father's pious name.
