Madura Veeran is a Tamil rural drama that subtly throws light upon the controversial sport, Jallikattu. The film begins with the central character Durai returning from Malaysia to Madurai to marry a girl, from his village. However, his true mission is to find his father s killer and also to participate in the sport of Jallikattu.
