Priyoranjan and Ratnakar are very good friends. They are almost like brothers. Everything was fine until Priyo ties the knots with Chirosree. They get married against their parents wish. They start their new family in poverty, but with a lot of passion. Whenever they needed something Ratnakar was always there to help them. They have a baby boy also, but the situation changes soon as Ratnakar and Chiorosree gets close to each other. Priyo could not stand their friendship as he starts to dislike Ratnakar and finally he fights with Chirosree regarding this issue. In the meantime, he degrades as a person also. He goes to the racecourse and lands up in jail. Chirosree with her own merit and able guidance of Ratnakar starts a new business of cosmetics and soon finds success. She also gets unlikely help from the bank officer to avail a loan. In the end though Priyo gets released from jail and finds his wife and son. Finally, with the help of that very person Ratnakar Priyo is reunited with his family and the film ends on a happy note.

Unfortunately, her elder brother died and they became poorer. Later Koni took a job in a shop as a salesperson. Khit da on the other hand put his every effort to make her successful in state level competition, but there also politics made her isolated. At last, Koni got the chance in national meet as a reserve. Suddenly one of the contestants became ill and Koni replaced her. In final Koni showed her fighting ability and won the competition.

"Bhutnath comes to Kolkata in search for a job and starts living with a devotional man named Brojorakhal. He sends Bhutnath to a Brahma named Subinoy Babu who takes a prompt liking for Bhutnath and employs him in his sindur factory. Subinoy Babu s daughter Jaba shares a bitther sweet relationship with Bhutnath. Brojorakhal introduces Bhutnath to the youngest bahu of the zamindari household where he was employed. He calls her bouthan and brings for her a box of sindur as per her request. It is now where Bhutnath gets a chance to look at the lives of the zamindars closely. They lived a brash lifestyle, splurged, enjoyed life to the fullest and never cared for their wives. Bhutnath witnesses an instance where his bouthan pleads her husband to not go anywhere and he replies in return stating he will only stay back if she sings, dances and makes him drink. Bouthan requests Bhutnath to bring alcohol for her and he implies. In her mad attempt to keep her husband by her, she gets addicted to alcohol. Bit by bit the zamindars lose their estates, money and consequently power. One day when Bouthan and Bhutnath are on their way to the mandir, a group of people attack them and knock Bhutnath unconscious. When he gets back his conscience, he does not find Bouthan. Many years later when Bhutnath is summoned to demolish the same estate, he recollects his old days spent at the house. The workers dig and find a skeleton decked with jewellery. Bhutnath recognizes it at once to be his bouthan s skeleton."

Later, they have an accident, a boy is injures but Alakendu runs away. Pravati oposes him and starts hating Alokendu. Alokendu realises his fault and surrenders to the police. Police arrest him and called Pravati as a witness. Subhendu tries to saved his son's life. The lower of Alokendu Mr. Dutta (Dilip Roy) proved that it was an accident and the boy died on the spot, Alokendu tried to save him, but he failed. Court released him. Pravati realises her fault and apologises to Alokendu.
