The plot revolves around the land acquisition movement of 2006-07 in Bengal. The government asked the peasants to give up their lands for industrialization and promised them jobs in return. "Kochukunju (Prithviraj) is the spoiled son of the Vadakkan Veettil family in Taliparamba, Kannur.
