The movie revolves around Karthik (Bharath), a software engineer and professional. He meets Priya (Meera Jasmine) in Ooty and they fall in love. The couple elope due to opposition from Priya's family and get married. They face trouble in the form of a greedy and perverted police officer. He lusts for Priya. When he tries to molest her, she kills herself. The blame falls on Karthik. He kills the police officer and goes to jail, where he meets a Nepali social worker (Govind Namdeo), who tries to help women harassed in the workplace. When they spend a night in a sea shore, Ravi is attacked by a gang headed by Nandhini's ex-husband. But when he reaches his house, all troubles start. Fareed (Sibiraj), an outlaw informs Ravi that Nandhini's ex-hubby is killed by him and threatens him with photographs of Ravi bashing him at the beach. Fareed manages to make Ravi agree for a plan in order to save him from being arrested by the police for committing a murder. He hatches a conspiracy to rob the Trust bank and seeks Ravi's help. The villagers, for her noble act, consider her their head after her return from the prison. However, trouble crops up in the name of a police officer , Lal , whose ego is hurt when challenged by the fellow policeman's son that he can't find anything illicit in Simbhu's village, ruled by the godmother Seema. Lal tries - but to no avail - to nail somebody from the village for any charges and ends being thrashed up the villagers. Krishnamurthy, aka JK (Cheran), a fatigued CB-CID officer, is on the verge of handing in his resignation, tortured by his sister's disappearance, a case he's been investigating without result for three months.
