Raju (Suresh) is a taxi driver cum tourist guide down on his luck. Nandini (Meena), a tourist with mental retardation makes her presence in Tirupati and meets Raju, then a series of events are intertwined with the lives of Raju and his friend Nethranandham (Chinna). In the early part of the movie, hilarity ensues in their misguided attempts in getting rid of Nandini. However, Raju and his friend (Chinna) happen to know that she is an escaped mental patient who has a bounty on her safe return. When they find that the bounty has been increasing for a while, they decide to hide Nandini for a while and surrender her to claim the bounty when it gets big enough. They also change her appearance by cutting her long hair short. Nandini reveals her true story to Raju that she was born to her unknown mother and retired Justice Pundarikam (Kaikala Satyanarayana) but is brought up in orphanage. She used to call Justice (Kaikala Satyanarayana) who used to visit her in orphanage as "Sweet Man" unaware of the fact that he was her father. After knowing the fact that he was her father, she obtains the address of her father from her warden and goes to see her father. In the absence of her father, she was drugged and sent to mental asylum by Pundarikam's sons and daughters-in-law. She managed to escape from the asylum and that is how she met Raju. Raju promises to help Nandini and appoints her as housemaid in her father's home. In time, they realize that things are not as they seem, and more complications are unraveled. more»

A container packed with fake currency is stopped at the check post by Thomas Kurien, an honest senior customs officer along with Rajath Naidu, the city commissioner of police. But he is shocked to find out that Rajat Naidu himself is a part of the gang, who shoots down Kurien to save himself. A few months later, Gyanashekhara Varma (Murali), DG of Vigilance Department makes a controversial press conference, in which he alleges the role of hawala transactions in the sudden rise in the crimes in the state. His statements were directly pointed at seniors in the state cabinet and police department. Varma is summoned by the chief minister in the presence of John Varghese (Siddique), Rajya Sabha MP, and is warned of serious actions unless he gives a proper explanation in the next couple of days. Instead of falling in lines of CM, Varma threatens him of further revelations in coming days. The next morning Varma is found dead in his bedroom. John Varghese, an MP with strong foreign relations is also involved in several hawala dealings taking place in the state including terror activities. Senior police officer Chandrashekhar IPS (Suresh Gopi)is appointed to solve the mystery of Varma's death. Chandrasekhar is assisted by Joseph Pothen (Saikumar) and Sudev Sachidanand. In the meantime, Suhara Ahmed (Gopika), a young journalist along with her friend Kishore is found missing. She is believed to have certain sensational information regarding minister Vakkachan (Rajan P. Dev). Chandrasekhar meets Vivekam Ahmed Sahib (Janardhanan), her father, who leads him to the personal computer of Suhara, which sheds light to certain truths. One day, Suhara is found in midst of a forest, critically wounded. Chandrasekhar gets her hospitalized, but her life is targeted many times. Chandrasekhar finds out shocking information regarding the anti-national activities of Vakachan along with John Varghese from the videotapes of Suhara. Vakkachan is forced to resign from the cabinet and is arrested by Chandrasekhar, who then follows John Varghese. He follows Vargeese to the seaport, from where he is planning to escape to Turkey. But, just minutes before he leaves the coast, Varghese is stopped by Chandrasekhar, who also finds out that his subordinate Sudev Sachidanand is none other than Musafir, an ISI agent who is also the murderer of Varma and Kishore, the friend of Suhara. The film starts with Sethumadhava Kurup a.k.a. Sethu (Suresh Gopi) returning to his village in Kuttanadu after long years. He meets his old teacher, Kumaran master (Bahadoor) and informs him that he was running a hotel in Punjab but lost everything in the riots there. He opens a small tea-shop in the village. There he meets his old flame Bhaagi (Sithara) who is now married and settled. He also meets his uncle Koyikal Madhava Kurup (M S Thripunithura) who was responsible for his fleeing from the village and losing his girl. He returned to take revenge on his uncle but by the time his uncle already lost all his wealth. In the village he also becomes friends with Anthrappayi (Jagathy Sreekumar) and Paramu (Mamukkoya). His happy second life in the village ends one night with the arrival of Chandru (Murali) from Bombay. It was revealed that Sethu was actually a henchman of Chandru in Bombay. Chandru asked him to take one more assignment else he will reveal Sethu's real past to the villagers. Sethu had no choice but to take up the assignment and starts to Kodaikanal. In Kodaikanal he stays with Ramu (Vijayaraghavan) who was an old associate of his in Bombay. Sethu's assignment was to kill Radha (Ranjini) who teaches in a boarding school in Kodaikanal managed by Fr. Francis Arackal (Jose Prakash). One night Sethu went to murder Radha but was shocked to find her trying to commit suicide. Sethu instead saved her life and tries to found out who wants to kill her. Sethu understands that the person who wants to finish off Radha is actually Narayan Mehta (Lalu Alex) who is the boss of Chandru and Ramu. Narayan Mehta earlier married Radha as Narayanankutty for her money but later left her and made her believe that he died in an accident in Dubai. Radha met Narayanankutty, who is now a big businessman called Narayan Mehta, in Kodaikanal. Narayan Mehta orders Chandru to have Radha killed, to prevent his secrets getting revealed. The cruel Mehta also destroyed the life of Kausalya (Parvathy) by killing her rich father, grabbing all her wealth and reducing her to his handicapped wife in a wheel chair. Sethu develops sympathy towards Radha, fals in love with her and decides to protect her from Chandru and Narayan Mehta with the help of Ramu and Albert (Saikumar). They ended up having an open fight and Chandru was killed by Ramu who in turn was killed by Narayan Mehta. Sethu and Radha were chased by Narayan Mehta and finally Sethu kills Mehta with the help of Albert who also dies in the attempt. The film ends with Sethu being taken by the police with Fr. Francis assuring him of getting acquitted considering the circumstances leading to the murder and Mehta's criminal past. more»
