Raju, a farmer lives with his sister Janaki, whom he adores. Venkatappaiah, a rich man plans to marry off his son Dr. Raghu to his brother-in-law Ganapathi s daughter Rani, an advocate. In the crowded bylanes of Old Delhi, Shuklaji runs a small photo studio as a facade for a small-time crime.
