The film starts with a clash between the offering of the routine morning prayers of the Muslim cleric and his neighboring Hindu priest. The Muslim cleric is vexed with the Hindu priest but is more bothered about his son, who is a good friend of his and pays regular visits to the temple. He scolds and punishes Janu several times and warned him that he may be cursed to hell if he continues this. The cleric loses his temper when he comes to know that his son has participated in the annual Hindu mythological play, Ramleela, and played the role of the Hindu God Hanuman. He gets upset, punishes his son and explains to him the difference between the two religions. At the end of the story, petrified with an incident, Janu absconds from his home. His father searches for him everywhere and during this painful search for his lost son, he realizes that he is first a father to his son before being a cleric. The film starts with two ten year old boys, Nandhu (Srikanth) and Aravind (Aravind Akash), arguing heatedly about Gayathri (Navya Nair) and who loves her the most. As the young girl herself remarks, they are all only in seventh standard, and claims she will only fall in love with whoever happens to become a doctor. In the meantime, Gayathri's father is transferred elsewhere, while Nandhu's father commits suicide after killing his mother. Nandhu is taken care of his father's closest friend (R. K. Vidyadharan) and as he cannot afford to help the kid become a doctor, he hatches a plan to become a professional blackmailer. A dozen years later and you've got an adult Nandhu who is a student and professional blackmailer, now operating under the aegis of his guru and his associate (Sathyan). Until Gayathri re-emerges, but for Nandhu's distraught, she has already met Aravind who actually has become a doctor. Satir Dehatyag is the story of Sati, the human birth of the Supreme Goddess Yogmaya. Daksha, the son of Brahma. After successfully completing a hard penance he s blessed to be the king of the entire earth. He also asks the Goddess to be born as his daughter. She agrees but warns him that she'll leave for celestial abode if he ever insults her. Sati is born to Daksha. She is beautiful, multi-talented and an ardent devotee of Shiva. Daksha arranges a swayamvar to get her married to the most powerful, richest and talented king. But, Sati chooses Shiva, a wanderer and a beggar. Daksha is disheartened at her choice and disowns her. Daksha banns the worship of Lord Shiva in his kingdom. This leads to famine and problems in his kingdom. In order to get out of the problems he arranges a grand yajna. He invites everybody of all the three worlds except Shiva. Sati feels that her father forgot to invite them. She goes to her father as the yajna is going on. But, she is insulted by Daksha. Daksha insults Shiva so badly that Sati loses her consciousness. This enrages Shiva and he destroys everything. Sati dies. Shiva lifts Sati's body on his shoulders and starts wandering around the earth madly. In order to get him out of this fit, Lord Narayana cuts sati's body into pieces and the places where each body part falls becomes a site of pilgrimage. Finally Shiva calms down. more»
