Jai Tilak belongs to a Rajput clan loyal to the kind and just king. However, the Maharaja's wicked son Shamsher Singh usurps the throne by killing the king. Jai meanwhile clashes with the haughty princess Rajshree, sister of Shamsher Singh as he tames her wild stallion. Falling in love with her, he resolves to tame her as well. Mangala, a fellow clanswoman, too, loves Jai. Shamsher kidnaps her and tries to rape her causing her to fall to her death. In retaliation Jai kidnaps Rajshree. Eventually, Rajshree falls in love with Jai. It also turns out that the king is alive after all. Jai, a now reformed Rajshree and the loyal clansmen help defeat Shamsher and restore the king to the throne.

An inheritance melodrama about Kunwar (Mahmood), the son of zamindar Rana Himmat Singh (Sethi). Kunwar marries Shobha (Suraiya) and is disinherited, forcing him to join the army during WW2. When he is reported lost and presumed dead, a repentant Rana invites Shobha to stay with him. However, it is Kanta (Nadira), a young woman betrayed by Rana s villainous secretary Kailash (Yakub), who arrives at the house and is mistaken for Shobha. Masquerading as Shobha, who lives nearby in absolute poverty, Kanta moves in, causing a moral dilemma and generating suspense since she could be caught out any moment.

Balan tries to bring back Susheela, who was still having an unsatisfied life with Giri, to Kaimal's life. He arranges a meeting between Susheela and Kaimal in a beach. But, they found Kaimal dead after being stabbed by himself with a knife. K.G George finely portrays the human psychological trauma in this film."
