Yusuf is the son of a prominent and respected doctor in his community and is studying medicine to become a doctor. One day he meets the beautiful Najma and both fall in love. Peter D'Souza lives in a small town in India. He is an idealistic and honest young man and wants to serve his country by joining the army.
