Mumtaz is a village girl whose family is killed in communal riots. She moves to Mumbai with her uncle, the only family member she has left. Krishna (Dr.Vishnuvardhan) is a well known architect.his only love is his daughter Anju (Mohini) and his life is filled with joy and happiness.
