Chakravyuh is the story of two best friends: Adil and Kabir. Adil Khan, a highly decorated police officer is posted to Nandighat, after a horrifying massacre of 84 policemen. Within days, he discovers that the Maoists, lead by the ruthless and charismatic Rajan, effectively control the area. They are able to swiftly thwart Adil's most determined efforts. Despite holding a position of enormous power as the SP of Nandighat, Adil has never felt so helpless in his career. But then, into his life, re-enters Kabir! Rootless, aimless, the quintessential rolling stone. His only anchor in life has always been his friendship with and his loyalty to Adil. Chaurahen - Crossroads is an evocative and poignant composition consisting of three separate stories set in three different cities in contemporary India. Each revolves around love, life, and loss. Basanti is Lata's friend. In one of her novels, Lata writes the story of Childhood friendship of Chander and Lata. Chander reads it and writes a letter to Renu (Lata) to find out how she knows of this story and if she knows Lata, then helping him to find Lata. Reading that letter, Basanti forces Lata to call Chander to meet plotting that Basanti will meet Chander as Lata. Basanti meets Chander there and falls in love with Chander. Chander was carrying the watch gifted by Lata to him all the time, that he looses when Basanti meets him and Basanti locates it. Seeing the watch, Lata recognizes it and recognizes Chander. Basanti feels hurt and blames Lata that she was knowing that Basanti was in love with Chander even then Lata didn't tell her that Chander is the same guy who Lata herself is in love with. Laxmikant Kabadiya aka LK (Anupam Kher) is one of India's richest industrialists. His conglomerate is on the verge of a 5000 crore IPO that should make them one of the largest companies in the country. LK's family can't stop salivating at the thought of all that money. Unfortunately for all of them on the night before the IPO opens, LK dies. The family is distraught and horrified as now no one will buy their shares. So, on the advice of their family guru, the family decides to hide the death of LK for a period of two days until the shares are all sold out. However, to make matters worse, every time they're ready to announce LK's death, fate intervenes forcing them to keep his death hidden for another couple of days. Arun and Devika get along well, their romance blossoming, while ruthless Chintu is falling prey to the tempting monetary and political offer made by Triphala. The town by now has started getting the media and government's attention due to Chintu's stay in Hadbahedi. The third pair is that of Stephanie-Raju pair, she searching for her faithless Indian boyfriend and the Indian taxi-driver who ferries her around the country. And then there is the Shiven-Gia yuppie marriage fiasco, with the groom with the cold-feet. The fifth story is of the stable married couple - Vinay-Seema, whose 15 year marriage is threatened when the husband wants more than just boring, suburban life. The sixth couple's story is of Isha-Sohail as a rural couple unable to give vent to their passion.
